THE STARTING PLACE FOR ALL OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DRUG PROGRAMS IS A PLACE CALLED CENTRAL INTAKE.

  • In order to get a referral to a county program, you must start at CENTRAL INTAKE.

Aurora Street, Suite 6, (Suite 2 for mailing) Stockton, CA 95202 (209) 468-9600  Contact Substance Abuse Services’ Central Intake at (209) 468-9600.  Intake staff can assess your treatment needs, explain the services that are available to you, and the fees for services.  Walk in appointments available Monday 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and 1 PM - 3 PM.

     

  • Drug and Alcohol Counseling Services

    Adolescent Co-Occurring Treatment Program (ACT) Family Health Building,1414 N. California Street, 2nd Floor. Stockton, CA 95202:  Michele Rowland-Bird, LCSW Manager for Children and Youth Services (209) 468-2385  Substance Abuse Counseling and education for Medi-Cal/EPSDT adolescent beneficiaries who have a co-occurring mental health issues.

    Community Works 620 N. Aurora street, Suite 2, Stockton, CA  95202;  209-468-2299;  provides access to Health and Social Services for people who are substance abusers and at risk for HIV, TB, Hepatitis, focused intervention and prophylactic measures.  Community Works also provides S.S.I. Case Monitoring.   Hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

    ADAP (Alternative Drug and Alcohol Program)  San Joaquin General Hospital 500 W. Hospital Road French Camp, CA 95231 (209) 468-6840,  Jail diversion program for women and men. Offers monitoring 7 days a week.

    Alcoholics Anonymous hotline Provides information and support to individuals affected by the disease of alcoholism. 464-1594

    Allies Program II Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program 1212 North California Street, Stockton, CA 95202,  (209) 953-7524.  Provides treatment to women with issues of substance abuse, mental illness and trauma.

    Alamo Club (Alcoholics Anonymous)  Provides recovery services to alcoholics/addicts and their families.

    Alcohol Recovery Center,  offers diagnosis, evaluation and counseling services to individuals with drinking or substance abuse problems. 953-8210

    Prevention services offered include programs designed to build youth leadership skills, offer alternatives, and develop awareness of the impact of drugs and alcohol on our community.   Hours 8:00 AM - 5 PM.
